How an 18 year old turned $10 into $3000
Issue #3

Matt's Message

Hello again, In this issue I am going to share with you my second tip on how to make the most out of storage unit auctions. Now remember, I won a storage unit auction for a single $10 bill and turned that right into $3000!! using exactly the tips I am about to share with you. Remember anyone can do this I am just a young 18 year old from the sticks of Wisconsin, with a little know-how you will be winning storage unit auctions in no time!! But before I get to the tip let me introduce you to Robbin Tungett.
THE BEST GARAGE SALE RESOURCE EVER!!
Now if you haven't heard of Robbin Tungett, you are missing out. She is a young mother who quit her "real" job to spend her time selling on eBay. She has created many awesome products to help others thrive on and off eBay. Well recently she told me about her new ebook "Garage Sale Strategies for eBay Success" Now I am often skeptical about newer ebooks that do not have a proven track record, but this ebook is incredible. Instead of calling it an ebook she could have called it The-most-important-resource-you-will-ever-need-if-you-want-to-make-money-from-garage-sales- book but ebook is a little easier to type. :)

Anyways Robbin's book goes into great detail on what it takes to make money from garage sales. Now I am sure you or someone you know, has gone to a garage sale, not really knowing what you are looking for, and probably leaving thinking you passed over some priceless gem.

Well now you have the ultimate resource on what to look for. Thankfully Robbin with her years of expertise on eBay found out what sells, often giving price ranges you can expect.

I personally feel that I have a good general idea about what an item I come across might sell for but I have probably missed many valuable items. I never heard of Hi-Delity Transistor Radio company or Yaesu Ham Radio and who would have guessed that Belly-Dancing books are big sellers, but Robbin tells you details about them. I bet you didn't know that 6T-330 series of Hi-Delity radios are good sellers and all others are flops.

But this doesn't even scratch the surface of product categories that Robbin goes into. Her book is truly chock full of items that you can find at garage sales and sell for a pretty penny on eBay.

But I can't keep telling you all of these secrets, click on her books image to finally find out what you need to buy at garage sales, and resell on eBay.

P.S. You better check out her site now, because she just launched a couple of days ago, and has already made a ton of sales. You can buy her book now before she realizes that she is charging a rock-bottom price for something she COULD BE charging hundreds of dollars for!!

Storage Auction Tip #2

As we finished in the last tip, I was just about to get to the fun part! Bidding

There are a lot of different types of auctions that you may encounter. One of the most popular types of auctions is the -Low Starting Bid- Chances are good if you attend a lot of auctions you will come across an auction like this. The premise behind it is simple. The owner of the storage unit complex will start the auction with a small arbitrary number to get the bidding war started. He may start with a price of $5.

When you encounter an auction like this you may be able to get some really good deals. Hopefully there won't be a lot of people in attendance (This was the case when I won a unit for $10 you can find more info on that haul in my e-book)

Like I said before the owner will start with a small opening bid in hopes of getting a bidding war started. When the owner has an auction like this, he is trying to get the most people he can bidding in the auction. The reasoning behind that is, once you get started bidding it is hard to stop. You really don't want to lose to some other person.

Often, these types of auctions will have a lot of valuable merchandise inside. The owner knows he is going to get a lot of value out of the unit, so he tries to get a lot of people interested in it. A tip I have for these types of auctions is to be patient. You can't win every unit so it is best to not bid often. Have a set price that you think a unit is worth, and how much you would be willing to pay for it. If the bidding goes over your set limit. STOP BIDDING There will always be other auctions, and you don't need to get in a bidding war with other people.

This is just one of the types of auctions I have dealt with. I list 7 other kinds of auctions in my e-book. I give tips and advantages on how to win each and every one of them! FIND OUT NOW!

Also I mentioned to decide a value of the items inside a unit before bidding I also set aside a chapter for this topic. This is a very helpful chapter and has a lot of great information in it. FIND OUT NOW!

Well that is Tip #2 so keep your eyes out for the next tip, and let me know if you have any questions.
