Undoubtedly you will find someone’s personal effects, like pictures, or licenses. Check with the complex owner before you leave on what you should do with these items. Sometimes they will ask you to give the personal items back in case the original owner ever comes back. So put these away in a separate box. But remember you legally won the items in the unit, so you are under no obligation to give anything back. Though I do recommend giving back the personal items. Everything else is yours. But of course, check with your local lawyers or police officials to find out exactly what you need to do in case the original owner ever does come back looking for their items.
